Training classes help dogs gain confidence, improve their behaviour, and develop valuable life skills, while owners benefit from expert guidance and practical advice from experienced trainers. From puppies taking their first steps in training to experienced handlers preparing for competition, there are activities to suit dogs of all ages, breeds, and levels of experience.
Competitive Obedience and Rally Obedience encourage teamwork, accuracy, and communication between dog and handler, while Scent Work allows dogs to use their natural abilities in a stimulating and enjoyable way. The Royal Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme provides a structured programme that promotes responsible dog ownership and good manners in everyday situations.
Above all, joining the Surrey Dog Training Society is a social experience. It offers the opportunity to meet like-minded people, make new friends, share successes, and enjoy being part of a community that values positive training and responsible dog ownership.
